The information management matrix

There are an increasing number of individuals, groups or agencies that have the capacity to manage information in disaster and emergency relief efforts. This can lead to challenges in the overall awareness and coordination of different information at either an individual or an organisational level.

A matrix can consolidate knowledge of what is happening in terms of information management for each type of end use, from data provision through to situation awareness and overall humanitarian footprint information, to more specific cluster and specialist needs.
