The map and information management wall

The map and information management wall is a way of displaying maps and products in a structured way. Each operations room should have one, but it may be necessary to have two: a public one outside the operations room, and an internal one for office and operations staff use. The information may be subtly different.

There are many ways to organise the wall – depending on the type of deployment – but the following should be considered:

• headings could be part of the product planning cycle

• columns should be thematic

• rows could be
