A key component of the Example Product Catalogue project has been designing it in such a way that it is easily updatable and having the ability to customise the outputs according to the user needs.
This has been achieved by the creation of a master structured document whereby all the content is created and sections are "tagged" accordingly and stored in a single location. Having this master document means that only a single document needs to be maintained thereby becoming a single point of truth. A series of transformations (rules) based on critera such as audience type, hazard type and product type mean that the final outputs are customised appropriately based on the users needs and in turn improve discoverability and interoperability.
Should new content need to be added or a new output required then this can be added to the master document or the transformations adapted respectively. This whole process should allow for new iterations to be easily created.
